Marisa Peters

Marisa Peters is an associate attorney at the Law Office of Andrew M. Dansicker. Marisa entered the field of law after working in various employment settings - corporate, non-profit, and start-up. She has served in a range of roles, from advising a senior executive at a Fortune 500 company on organizational design strategy, to mediating with men and their loved ones in correctional facilities, to starting her own career coaching business. Her passion for providing high quality outcomes and tangible results across the gamut of professional settings made employment law a natural fit.
Marisa graduated from the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law in July 2025. Throughout her tenure, she completed internships at the Maryland Office of the Public Defender - Appellate Division and Maryland Legal Aid. She also served as a student-attorney in the Federal Appellate Immigration Clinic and as Notes and Comments Editor of the Maryland Journal of Race, Religion, Gender and Class. She attended the University of Virginia for her undergraduate degree in Leadership & Public Policy, where she also minored in English.
A passionate life-long learner, Marisa has obtained additional certificates in product management, community mediation, life coaching, and yoga teaching. Her most recent learning journey has been motherhood - the most rewarding of her life thus far.
