Sexual Orientation

When most people think of job discrimination, they think of racial or age or gender discrimination, but sexual orientation discrimination is usually not on most people’s minds because federal employment discrimination laws do not encompass sexual orientation.  In the past few years, however, several Maryland counties have enacted such protections, and Maryland recently expanded its state anti-discrimination law to cover sexual orientation. Not surprisingly, I have handled several cases in the past year concerning sexual orientation issues as well as employment problems involving transgender employees who have been subjected to discrimination.

Andrew Dansicker has extensive experience analyzing potential sexual orientation discrimination and harassment cases and litigating such sexual orientation cases at the state, federal and administrative levels.  If you are experiencing an uncomfortable situation on the job as a result of sexual orientation, or if you have been discriminated against or terminated from your employment as a result of sexual orientation discrimination, contact Andrew Dansicker at The Law Office of Andrew M. Dansicker online, or call 410-771-5668.  To reach Mr. Dansicker immediately please fill out the consultation form and he will return your email within 24 hours.
